Lois June (Harshbarger) Priest

Lois June (Harshbarger) Priest, age 89 of Crawfordsville passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Ben Hur Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born in Crawfordsville on October 31, 1929 to the late Ralph and Ruth (Johnson) Harshbarger.

Lois attended Crawfordsville High School and married the love of her life William Edward Priest on February 18, 1949, who preceded her in death on June 3, 2019. Throughout the years, she worked as a housewife, helped William run the cleaning company, and at American Greeting Card. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church and Ben Hur Classic Car club. She enjoyed her cats and going to casinos with her husband.

She is survived by a son, Denny (Vicki Demoret) Priest of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Kathy (Dave) Hood of Indianapolis; and a step-daughter Karen Baldaulf of Brownsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William, sister, Carolyn, and an infant sister.
