Kenneth "Kenny" Weathington, age 69 of Lafayette and formerly of Peru, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on April 18, 1954 to Autry & Evelyn Delia (Roberson) Weathington.

Kenny graduated from Peru High School in 1973 and married Kay Flaherty in 1975 with whom he remained friends with after they parted ways for their children. He worked at Trelleborg in Wabash for over 25 years until he retired. Those that knew Kenny knew he was a man of few words but knew everyone. He always enjoyed watching the History channel documentaries, extreme weather programs on the Weather Channel, fishing, visiting and catching up with his childhood friends and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his three children, Daman (wife-Renee) Weathington of Lafayette, Melissa (Kevin Ulmer) Weathington of Texas, and Mandy (husband-Dave) Sanders of Crawfordsville; the mother of his children, Kay Weathington of Crawfordsville; Timothy Ciavardoni, who he raised and loved like a son; a sister, Ozro "Bunny" Cox of Mississippi; six grandchildren, Serena (husband-Isaiah) Duncan, Vanessa Bilic, Dean Weathington, Demi Weathington, Jayda Sanders and Korbin Sanders; two great-grandchildren, Jemma and Miko Duncan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Terry Weathington and Robert "Mike" Weathington; three sisters, Esther "Lois" Griffin, Gloria "Jean" Kimble, and Joyce Weathington.
