Theodora (Naranjo) Wilson

Theodora (Naranjo) Wilson, age 86 of Crawfordsville passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018.  She was born in Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico on March 3, 1932 to the late Salvador & Perfilia Naranjo and raised by Celestina Naranjo after her mother’s death.

Theodora graduated from Espanola High School in New Mexico.  On January 6, 1954 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, she married the love of her life, Lowell Thomas Wilson Sr., who preceded her in death on January 17, 2012.  She retired as a machine operator at Raybestos after 35 years.  She was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and the Wabash Club.  She enjoyed bowling, traveling, and gardening, but loved reading and spending time with her family.  She was very active in the church and volunteered at Bernie’s Buffet.  She will be remembered for her wonderful smile and joyful spirit.

She is survived by two sons, Lowell T. (Terri) Wilson Jr. and James K. Wilson, both of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Dora L. (Dan) Wilson, of Palestine, Texas; a sister, Millie (Eloy) Naranjo of  Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico; 8 grandchildren, Jason (Tara) Wilson, Kiley (Jeremy) Stewart, Joshua Wilson, Jacob (Brooke) Wilson, Jamie (Aaron) Selby, Aubrey (Brandon) Bosier, Dustin (Dee) Wilson, and Cameron (Rachel) Wilson; 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step mother, Celestina Naranjo; her husband, Lowell Sr; two brothers, Adolph and Clifford Naranjo; a sister, Sylvia Naranjo; and a great grandson, Knox Wilson.

Visitation will be at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 1306 E Main Street in Crawfordsville on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral mass at 1:00pm with Father Christopher Shocklee officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be given to Bernie's Buffet c/o St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.  Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
