Donna Sue (Huffman) Rogers

Donna Sue Rogers, age 82 of Mace passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at St. Franciscan Lafayette. Donna Sue was the daughter of Homer and Mabel (Rice) Huffman. She was the third child of five.

Donna Sue graduated from New Ross High school in 1955 and married the love of her life Ralph Rogers on October 23, 1954 in Brownstown, Indiana. Ralph preceded her in death on February 21, 2012. She was always a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Mace United Methodist Church.

Donna Sue is survived by daughter, Sue Ann (Dennis) Barker of Waveland; son, Jay (Kathy) Rogers of Alabama; sisters, Jean Keller of Mace and Karen (Gary) Dale of Crawfordsville; brother, Jim (Kathy) Huffman of Kokomo; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one on the way; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Donna Sue is preceded in death by parents, Homer and Mabel Huffman; husband, Ralph; sister, Dory Edwards; twin grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Rogers; great-grandson, Brady Goble; sister-in-law, Sherry Huffman; brothers-in-law, Jake Newlin and Ken Keller.

Friends and family may call from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm at Mace United Methodist Church, 5546 US HWY 136 E in Crawfordsville on Friday, October 4, 2019. A graveside service will follow at Mace Community Cemetery with Pastor Tami Mussche officiating.
